The After Dark Sessions is my ongoing exploration of the city once the sun goes down. I’m drawn to that quiet, in-between time when the streets empty out and the usual rhythm fades. There are no people in these photos—just the traces they leave behind. Tire tracks in the snow dusted roads, milk crates spilling over after drunk Emo kids built a tower that collapse, a flash of light from the bus.
Graffiti plays a big part in these scenes too. It’s like the city’s handwriting—layered, expressive, sometimes chaotic. Under the harsh light of day, you might overlook it, but at night it comes alive. Spray paint catches the glow of a nearby streetlight or neon sign, turning alleyways into accidental galleries.
At night, the city reveals a different character. Colours pop in unexpected ways, and the ordinary transforms. After Dark Sessions isn’t about nightlife or crowds—it’s about atmosphere, mood, and the strange stillness when the city feels both deserted and full of stories. It’s when the city becomes a different beast altogether.
